Welcome to Ulearn! Because Ulearn is data-driven, many features won’t become available until data starts entering your database. That’s why it’s important to follow the instructions below, in order and one step at a time, then move on to the next step. This will ensure that everything is set up properly from the beginning. We will first start with the basic school onboarding set up.
By the end of the setup process, your teachers, administrators, guardians, and students will all have their own accounts and each person will understand how to use all features available to them.
If you‘d like, instead of onboarding your entire school at once, you can try onboarding one class first. Then, once you, the administrators, and the teacher and students of that class are familiar enough with Ulearn, you will feel confident enough to onboard your entire school.
Choose your School URL and Register your Owner Account
In this step, you will choose your school URL pathway. This is what everyone in your school will access to log in to their accounts. Also in this step, you will create your Owner Administrator account, which is granted the highest level of administrative privileges in your school.
There are two ways to get everyone set up with Ulearn. The recommended approach is to have everyone at your school register their own accounts. Be sure to send them the Registration Instructions URL, or each role's respective instructions page: Students, Parents, Teachers, Admins. The alternative is to bulk import all users into Ulearn, which will automatically create accounts for everyone.
While bulk importing will get your entire school set up more quickly, you’ll need to individually send each user their username and password, which can take some time—especially for larger schools.
If you choose the recommended approach but a student or parent doesn’t get around to registering, you can still manually create an account for them later.

We recommend going through the videos available for all user types (Students, Parents, Teachers, Admins), and familiarizing yourself with the experience of all user types within Ulearn. After you’ve gained enough first-hand familiarity, then you’ll be equipped to handle any questions from these users.
Now that you have your own account, the basic setup is complete, and your users have registered their accounts, the next step is to make sure everyone in your school knows where to find the Ulearn instructions specific to their role.
Please send the appropriate guidance links to your Students, Parents, Teachers, Admins, if you haven’t already. Making sure everyone has access to the right instructions from the beginning will help them get started more easily and reduce the number of user support requests you receive.
